This fun and engaging quiz helps us understand your unique style preferences and hair goals, ensuring a personalized experience tailored just for you. By providing insights into what you love, the quiz allows us to better match you with the right stylist and services, enhancing your overall salon experience.
In addition to the quiz, we encourage you to bring as many photos as possible to help us understand the vibe, texture, and color you wish to achieve. Check out our Instagram page for inspiration—these images are a valuable guide, even though results may vary based on your hair's unique characteristics. Upon booking, you'll receive a pre-session client form to fill out with details about your hair history and preferences. During your appointment, your stylist will review this form with you in detail to ensure we’re aligned on your hair goals. We’ll also discuss your beauty budget, helping us create a plan that meets your desires while staying within your desired price range. Finally, please wash your hair 12 to 14 hours before your color service to ensure it’s clean while allowing natural oils to protect your scalp from irritation and color staining. The Consultation
At Hair Society Salon and Color Bar, every service begins with a detailed consultation to ensure you get the best results possible. During this time, your stylist will sit with you and go over a thorough consultation form, touching on every aspect of your hair care. We’ll ask about your hair history, including any products you’ve used or treatments you've tried—like box dyes, going blonde or darker, or using purple shampoo for toning.
It’s essential to be completely honest during this process. Sharing your full hair history allows us to select the right products and techniques for your hair type and condition. This transparency helps us prevent unwanted color results and ensures your desired outcome is achieved safely and effectively.
We’ll also discuss your hair challenges, your styling routine, the condition of your scalp, and how often you can visit the salon. These details help us tailor a service plan and recommend the best treatments and products to fit your goals and lifestyle.

After your visit, you can expect a thoughtful follow-up message from your stylist.
